Rental deposit
The deposit is not the rental price: it is a guarantee, refunded after the vehicle is checked, whose amount depends on the chosen vehicle and is given to you with the confirmation, before the keys are handed over.
Amount
The deposit amount varies by the vehicle booked: the more spacious or recent the car, the higher the guarantee requested can be. It is stated precisely, car by car, in the written confirmation.
When
The deposit is requested when the keys are handed over, at the same time as payment for the rental, not when you book: no amount is charged online in advance.
Refund
It is refunded after the vehicle is checked together with you on return — fuel, equipment, overall condition — carried out in your presence with the team, without any unnecessary delay.
Transparency
The rental price, the deposit amount and the insurance excess are always presented as three separate lines in your confirmation, never as a single combined amount.

The total price, deposit, excess, extras, locations and applicable rules are set out in your written confirmation. Payment is made when the vehicle is handed over.
