We only process the information needed for your rental request, its confirmation and the follow-up of the rental.
Freeland Car
The data controller is Freeland Car, a car rental company based in Essaouira, Morocco. Contact: contact@freelandcar.com.
What you send us
The booking form collects your name, e-mail, phone, country, age, dates, pick-up and return locations, flight number and comments. No bank details are requested online.
Why it is used
To process your rental request, check availability, send you the confirmation, prepare the handover of the car and contact you about the rental.
Limited recipients
Your data is not sold. Transactional e-mails (acknowledgement of receipt, confirmation) are sent through the service provider Resend. If you choose WhatsApp, your conversations go through that service.
Limited period
Data is kept for as long as necessary to handle the rental and to comply with legal obligations.
Access, rectification, erasure, objection
In accordance with Moroccan law no. 09-08 and, for residents of the European Union, the GDPR, you can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@freelandcar.com.
Security
Do not send sensitive data, such as a bank card number or a copy of an ID document, in a message unless the team has asked for it. Your original documents are shown when the car is handed over.
